The VEST model
The elegance of a clean line.
An all-black unisex vest without crystals, chosen for its understated cut and carefully finished details.
The same care for comfort, finish and protection as every other AXION airbag.
Safety & technical details
The highest safety standards, for peace of mind in the saddle
Your AXION airbag is CE certified and has been assessed against NF S72-800:2022 by ALIÉNOR Certification. Dedicated to equestrian airbags, this standard defines strict requirements for inflation, protected areas and impact resistance.
Inflation in under 100 milliseconds
Protection that deploys in a fraction of a second when activated — in the blink of an eye.
Extended coverage of essential areas
Neck, chest, back, lower back, pelvis and sacrum: coverage designed for areas particularly exposed during a fall.
Certified safety
A design subject to rigorous safety requirements, combining protective performance with peace of mind in the saddle.
Elegance takes many forms. Our standards remain absolute.
From the most understated model to creations enhanced with Swarovski crystals, every AXION airbag embodies the same promise: protection without compromise.
Construction & comfort
Lightness designed to feel effortless in the saddle.
Approximately 600 g in size S, to follow the rider’s movements without restricting freedom.
Materials & finishes
Main material
Nylon and spandex.
Interior
Breathable, slightly stretchy mesh at the sides and centre of the back.
Italian textile. Depending on the model, Swarovski crystals set by hand in France.
Additional information
Mechanical activation when the rider separates from the saddle. No battery, application or subscription required.
An airbag helps limit the consequences of certain impacts. It does not prevent falls or guarantee protection from serious or fatal injury. The product’s instructions and official documents remain the reference.
Every AXION airbag comes with the accessories required for installation and use:
Connector cord
Saddle attachment strap
Allen key
Firing mechanism
Storage pouch
Protective cover
CO₂ cartridges
50 cc for sizes XXXS to XS · 60 cc for sizes S to XL.
Our cartridges are currently in development.
For a cartridge from another brand, including Helite or Hit-Air, ask AXION to confirm compatibility of the exact reference with your airbag before purchase.
Nominal volume alone is not sufficient: capacity, gas weight, format and thread must match your airbag’s requirements.
CO₂ cartridges are single-use and must be replaced after every activation.
Important information: the CO₂ cartridge is currently sold separately.
Not the right size? Size exchanges are free in mainland France and Corsica, under our exchange conditions.
The free size exchange is a commercial service separate from the statutory right of withdrawal. Return conditions and any exceptions are explained in our returns policy.
