Because safety on horseback should never force you to compromise your style, AXION Equestrian reinvents the equestrian airbag by combining advanced protection, comfort, and distinctive aesthetics.

Pre-order available

As each piece features hand-applied crystals, some sizes may be temporarily out of stock.

To ensure the availability of your FALL LINE model, we recommend pre-ordering, which allows you to reserve your piece from our upcoming production runs.

With the FALL LINE model, AXION Equestrian presents a creation born from the fusion of two strong brand signatures.

On one side, the fluid elegance of the FALL model, inspired by the natural movement of waterfalls.

On the other, the assertive structure of the LINE model, characterized by its shoulder line.

The FALL LINE model embodies the fusion of these two worlds: a balance between fluidity and structure, softness and character.

The line of crystals at the shoulders frames and structures the upper bust, while the fluid distribution of crystals maintains the controlled "fall" effect specific to the FALL model.

The result: a sculpted, assertive, yet always elegant silhouette.

Sublimated by hand-applied crystals, each airbag becomes a unique piece, designed for female riders who want to be protected without disappearing.

Optimal protection meeting the most demanding standards

Designed to effectively protect the rider's vital areas, the AXION Equestrian airbag provides comprehensive coverage for:

• Cervical spine

• Neck

• Spinal column

• Back and lumbar region

• Sacrum and pelvis

• Thorax

Its deployment system allows inflation in less than 100 milliseconds, before impact.

This ultra-fast deployment absorbs shocks and stabilizes the upper body, while remaining compatible with wearing an equestrian helmet.

The protection system is adapted to each size to ensure optimal support and uniform coverage of at-risk areas.

Classified in France as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), equestrian airbags meet strict requirements for protection surface area, inflation speed, and impact resistance, as defined by standard NF S72-800.

CE certified and compliant with standards NF S72-800 and EN 13158, the AXION Equestrian airbag meets the most demanding current standards.

The airbag is assembled and inspected in Haute-Savoie, guaranteeing a high level of manufacturing and quality control standards.

Comfort, lightness and freedom of movement

The airbag fabric is a micro-perforated technical fabric developed in Italy, a country recognized as a benchmark in technical and sports textiles, guaranteeing a high level of quality and performance.

Lightweight (approximately 600g in size S), comfortable, and breathable, it incorporates strategically placed mesh zones at the back and ribs to promote air circulation.

Its design combines technical materials selected for their resistance and flexibility, offering excellent support while maintaining a high level of comfort.

The interior, designed to accompany body movements, ensures optimal breathability even during prolonged exertion.

An elastic band is also integrated at the ribs to adapt to every rider's body shape and offer total freedom of movement during practice, while maintaining a fitted and feminine cut.

The airbag can be worn alone or under a show jacket compatible with most models on the market, provided it contains at least 15% elastane, to ensure optimal functionality.

An assertive aesthetic signature

Each AXION Equestrian airbag is sublimated by precisely hand-applied crystals, arranged in a visual balance designed to enhance the silhouette without overwhelming it.

On the FALL LINE model, the structuring line at the shoulders frames the upper bust and reinforces the reading of the silhouette.

It combines with the fluid descent of crystals inspired by the FALL model, creating a subtle contrast between structure and movement.

The overall effect is both graphic, elegant, and distinctive.

This meticulous work is carried out in France, near the Arcachon basin, guaranteeing a refined and distinctive finish.

Each piece thus becomes unique, both elegant and identifiable.

The customization of the crystals can be entirely bespoke, both in terms of placement and color.

We invite you to explore the "Customization" section on our website to create a piece that truly reflects you.

With AXION Equestrian, safety becomes visible, elegant, and confident.

Cartridge replacement guide

Step 1 – Removing the used cartridge

After the airbag deploys, the ball is ejected, and the spring becomes visible.
Unscrew the used CO₂ cartridge, then remove it completely.

Step 2 – Loosening the system

Using the supplied Allen key (5 mm), loosen the cap.
Do not unscrew it completely, but only enough to reposition the piston.

Step 3 – Repositioning the piston

Reposition the piston using the Allen key or your finger.
Ensure that the piston's notch is perfectly aligned with the hole intended for the ball.

Step 4 – Replacing the ball

Replace the ball in its housing.
Make sure the ring around the ball is positioned flat.
Start screwing the cap back on by hand while firmly holding the ball.

Step 5 – Tightening the mechanism

Finish tightening the cap using the Allen key.
The cap must be in contact with the cylinder.
Do not overtighten to avoid damaging the system.

Step 6 – Installing the new cartridge

Screw in a new CO₂ cartridge suitable for your airbag size.
Tighten completely without forcing, ensuring the cartridge is correctly aligned.

Recommended cartridges

  • 50 cc for sizes 3XS to XS

  • 60 cc for sizes S to XL

Points of attention

  • Always use a new cartridge after deployment

  • Never reuse a cartridge that has already been pierced

  • Never force when screwing

  • In case of doubt about reassembly or the condition of the system, do not use the airbag and contact AXION Equestrian after-sales service

Recommendation

Correct rearming of the airbag is essential to guarantee its effectiveness in the event of a fall.

In case of doubt, it is recommended to have the product checked by AXION Equestrian after-sales service.

User, Maintenance and Warranty Guide

LAST UPDATED: MARCH 25, 2026

ARTICLE 1 – COMMISSIONING

Your AXION Equestrian airbag is delivered ready for use.

Before first use, it is essential to screw in a CO₂ cartridge suitable for the size of the vest.

The customer must ensure that the cartridge is correctly installed, not punctured, and perfectly screwed in before any use.

ARTICLE 2 – CHECKS BEFORE USE

Before each use, it is the customer's responsibility to:

  • check that the cartridge is correctly screwed in and in good condition

  • inspect the general condition of the vest (fabric, seams, trigger system)

  • correctly install the tether strap at the level of the two stirrup leathers

  • adjust the length of the tether strap

  • verify the attachment of the connection cord

  • wear the airbag closed and correctly adjusted

ARTICLE 3 – CONDITIONS OF USE

The airbag must be connected to the saddle before mounting a horse.

Use must comply with the following rules:

  • use only the supplied tether strap

  • never attach the cord to any point other than the one intended

  • never use the airbag without a cartridge installed

  • wear the airbag alone or under a compatible jacket

  • maintain sufficient freedom of movement

Any non-compliant use is the sole responsibility of the customer.

ARTICLE 4 – AIRBAG SYSTEM OPERATION

The AXION Equestrian airbag operates using a mechanical trigger system connected to the saddle by a tether cord.

In the event of a fall, the tension exerted on the cord triggers the system, allowing the airbag to inflate in a few milliseconds.

Inflation helps absorb shocks and stabilize certain areas of the body.

The system is designed to limit accidental deployments, but accidental deployment remains possible, especially if disconnection is forgotten.

ARTICLE 5 – AFTER DEPLOYMENT

After deployment:

  • the cartridge must be replaced with a new, suitable cartridge

  • the general condition of the vest must be checked

  • any deployed cartridge must be replaced immediately

It is strictly forbidden to reuse a cartridge that has already been deployed.
