Riding Airbag Cartridge Replacement Guide
Step 1 – Removing the used cartridge
After the airbag deploys, the ball is ejected, and the spring becomes visible.
Unscrew the used CO₂ cartridge, then remove it completely.
Step 2 – Loosening the system
Using the supplied Allen key (5 mm), loosen the cap.
Do not unscrew it completely, but only enough to reposition the piston.
Step 3 – Repositioning the piston
Reposition the piston using the Allen key or your finger.
Ensure that the piston's notch is perfectly aligned with the hole intended for the ball.
Step 4 – Replacing the ball
Replace the ball in its housing.
Make sure the ring around the ball is positioned flat.
Start screwing the cap back on by hand while firmly holding the ball.
Step 5 – Tightening the mechanism
Finish tightening the cap using the Allen key.
The cap must be in contact with the cylinder.
Do not overtighten to avoid damaging the system.
Step 6 – Installing the new cartridge
Screw in a new CO₂ cartridge suitable for your airbag size.
Tighten completely without forcing, ensuring the cartridge is correctly aligned.
